* NOTE- miming your vote at home will not count toward overall total.
Even in the midst of political mudslinging, the pressures of rising prices and the depressed dollar, it is still good to be an American.
One of the privileges of being an American is the right to vote. When we need a new American Idol…we vote. To determine which star dances better, which model walks better, what designer can design better and what fatty is the biggest loser, we vote.
At the Kevin and Liz show there is an annual event we call “NEWS HOTTIE”. It is designed to identify those local news persons that inform us day in and day out and make even the worst news some how more palatable just because they are so hot.
Even the worst weather somehow feels better when it’s delivered by a hottie. Your favorite team may have lost, but that losing score seems closer because the sports guy/gal is steamy. Reporters outside a courthouse describing the shooting just make you want to go there to be in the presence of their hotness. And those nightly anchors that we willingly invite in to our bedrooms each night to snuggle up with and fantasize about as we drift off to sleep.
Those people should be recognized and that is why we do what we do. Because of how hot they are doing what they do.
Don’t forget to vote this year and let your voice be heard. We need to know who turns you on.
Thank you. And God Bless America.
Liz
