Bio
Kevin Howard grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida and Atlanta, Ga. He’s married to Kelly and they have one son, Sam, and a daughter, little Lilly. Kevin sewed his radio oats at WRAS Atlanta, the 100,000 watt voice of Georgia State University in Atlanta. He's been serving it up in the mornings in Springfield since 1995.
He hosted several music shows including “The Georgia Music Show” where he was the first in the country to play Collective Soul. That show also introduced R.E.M., the B-52’s, The Black Crows, the Indigo Girls, Shawn Mullins and many others. Kevin was also an intern at WKLS Atlanta (96 Rock).
He got his first paying gig in Augusta, GA at WCHZ (Channel Z) doing the Early Show with Kevin and Klein. He packed up his old cat Frank in 1995 and moved here to Springfield where he got the morning gig at KTOZ (Channel Z) Kevin and the Matt-man and Teresa Petry.
Channel Z became 95.5 The Edge where he did the Kevin and Shelly show. The Edge later became Alice 95.5. After almost 15 years of mornings at KTOZ, Springfield is HOME for the Howard’s.
More than 11 years ago Kevin teamed up with Liz and radio in the Ozarks hasn’t been the same since. Kevin and Liz hit it off right away and they’ve been letting it fly since 1999. The show has been voted best in the Ozarks by 417 magazine for seven years running. Some big annual events include Hungerthon for the Ozarks Food Harvest and Boobapalooza for the Breast Cancer foundation of the Ozarks. Kevin and Liz were proud to accept the award for media organization of the year for 2007 presented to Alice 95.5 for philanthropy.
 Kevin has also been the voice of the Springfield Cardinals at Hammons Field for the past six seasons as the P.A. Announcer.
