HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!
Tuesday 01-12-2010 11:09am CT
Hi everyone,
it is so good to be back after our long vacation.  I'm excited about a new year and a fresh start.  I totally pigged out over the holiday and I am about the size of a buffalo.
So, I am returning to my friends at Jenny Craig for help.  I can't do it myself and I am hoping some of you will join me.  I'm having an open house party at JC Center on Jan. 30, and would love for you to take it off with me.  Call 890-0110 to let them know you are coming.  Let's get thin in 2010!

A personal note:
Friday 11-06-2009 11:04am CT

In light of the events that took place at Fort Hood this week, I just want to say that my prayers are with those families.  As you all know my husband (the Sarge) is a USAF vet and I know how close knit those posts and bases are and how deeply they must be hurting.  Please pray for them with me.
Also, 11/11 is Veteran's day so make sure you thank a Vet.  I would like to thank my Father who served in the Army in Korea for 9 years and retired as a MSgt.  My Uncle Buster was a highly decorated soldier and hero in WWII and was awarded the Silver Star.  I am very proud of my family's history of service to our country.  I thank God that they all made it out alive!  And I thank God that I am an American.
God Bless all service men and women and their families.
Thank you,
Liz

I'm tickled PINK!

Thanks to all of you who helped with Boobapalooza this year.
It was a record year so give yourselves a pat on the back.
I also want to thank all the businesses and organizations that gave me pink shirts to wear throughout the month.  This last one is compliments of my darling son.  Rock Chalk Jayhawk!

THE LETTER FROM KELLY, KAREN, & LAURA FROM PRIME
Monday 10-12-2009 7:59am CT
They wrote:
"Dear Liz,
Kelly, Karen, and I are sinding you this shirt to honor all the people that have dealt and continue to deal with breast cancer. Kelly personally fought and won against the disease & all 3 of us have had family members with cancer.

Prime does fund raisers through the year for cancer & other diseases. During this month we are going to be having one for breast cancer. It's great to see everyone participating in trying to knock out the disease.

Your station and your show in particular do a wonderful job bringing awareness to everyone about the ongoing battle. Keep up the good work.

Kelly, Karen, and Laura"

THE SHIRT THEY SENT

Pink is my favorite color

Hey Ladies,
It's October which means breast cancer awareness and I have committed to wearing Pink for the whole month.  If your business or organization has a pink shirt you would like to donate you can!  Bring it by the tower theater and each day I will post my pink shirt picture on the website.  Check the Kevin and Liz Lounge each day for a new shirt.  More important, check yourself!  And tell every women you know to do her monthly self exams.  It's the quickest way to detect a lump and may mean saving her life.
Finally, join us October 23rd at Coyote's Adobe Cafe, 6-10am
for Boobapalooza 2009!
Bless you all,
Liz
